April is up to date…

2010

I just updated the April section and everything is up to date.  Check back this Thursday for TWO independent picklers of the week since I didn’t update the website last week. Take care everybody, and enjoy your time at John Mudd Loves Pickles.

Independent Pickler of the Week: McClure’s Pickles

2010
04.01

This weeks independent pickler of the week has  a lot in common with yours truly.  We are both young pickle entrepreneurs, we both devote some serious attention to almighty pickle, and we both enjoy the (not so) occasional pickle.  These guys are living the dream, so help them live it by checking out their website here:

McClure’s Pickles

So there you have it.  This weeks independent pickler is in the bag.  As for JMLP, I have LOADS of new updates that should be up by the end of the day tomorrow.  I’ll just give you a sneak peak at what I found in the employee lounge today at work…

If you’re interested on how I came across this plethora of pickles, check back tomorrow night for a new section and tons of updates.  Thanks for the love everybody.

Independent Pickler of the Week: The Pickle Guys

2010
03.25

If your phone number is 1-888-4-PICKLE, you may have a serious addiction to pickles.  On the other hand, you may be as devoted to this delicious snack as myself or this weeks independent picklers, the Pickle Guys.  These guys have every type of pickle imaginable, including from kosher dills, half-sours, full-sours, and even horseradish pickles.  I really feel like I should just bite the bullet and stock up on a gallon of these kosher dills.  If you are interested in learning more about the Pickle Guys, check out their website here…

That’s all for tonight, but more pickles updates are going to be popping up really soon.  Check back soon for pickle adventures galore.  Much love from JMLP.

Updates are COMING!!!

2010
03.24

There should be some new pickles adventures documented soon.  The pickles have been coming slow these past few weeks, but things are turning around and I’ll be stocking up on tons of pickles.  Also, check back tomorrow for an independent pickler of the week.  JMLP needs your support!

Back in Business

2010
03.17

After letting my pickle experiences accrue a little bit before I put them online, All of my pickle experiences are currently up to date.  Take a look at the “March” section and let me know how I’m doing.  Enjoy your stay at JMLP!

Independent Pickler of the Week: Dynamite Dill

2010
03.11

It’s really difficult to describe Dynamite Dill.  One could argue that they’re crazy for offering something as off-the-wall as their Christmas Pickle (Made with cloves, Maraschino cherries, and a whole stick of cinnamon).  Others could say that they’re intelligent for offering over five types of pickles, all flavored with garlic and peppers.  Whatever you decide, one thing remains clear: Dynamite Dill is as innovative as it is fresh, bringing an avant-garde demeanor to the world of pickles.  Check them out.

Independent Pickler of the Week: Sunshine Pickle

2010
03.04

I’m keeping it short and sweet tonight.  These next independent picklers seem to be just as excited about pickles as I am.  Sunshine Pickle is a manufacturer based in New Jersey that claims, “We ship everything as quickly as possible so our customers enjoy their pickles at the peak of freshness and crunchiness.  Sunshine means fresh, and fresh is better.”  These pickle aficionados offer a wide variety of pickles and pickle related products.  Whether your chosen pick is a kosher dill, a half-sour, or even a garlic pickle, Sunshine is is the place to go.  Check them out here:

And there you have it.  Short, sweet, and simple… just like a perfect pickle.  These guys mean business , so check them out if you’re interested and tell me about your experience.  Until next time, Happy Pickles from JMLP.

New Month = You guessed it…

2010
03.03

A flip of the page on a calendar means that there is a new section on JMLP.  You’ll also notice that I did a little bit of remodeling when it comes to the actual section titles.  Now instead of “Pickles I Enjoyed in March,” you will be reading a section called, “Chapter 3: March Pickle Adventures.”  The reason for this is so that the sections stay in order at the top of the page for easier navigation around JMLP.  Enjoy your stay and happy pickling from John Mudd Loves Pickles.

Current on my Pickle Adventures + Categories

2010
02.26

I spent a lot of time updating the website tonight, and I am happy to say that all of my pickle adventures are up to date and on record in the “Pickles I Enjoyed in February,” section of my website.  Lots of text and pictures have been displayed, so take a look around and enjoy your stay at JMLP.  Also, every post has been given a new category, so it should be easier to find older entries.  Check out all of the Independent Pickle manufacturers I have featured by clicking on the “Independent Pickles” link below the post from earlier today.  Happy Pickles!

Independent Pickler of the Week: Bob’s Pickle Pops

2010
02.25

Granted Bob’s Pickle Pop’s aren’t exactly independent pickle manufacturers, they certainly aren’t as well known as other pickle suppliers.  If you don’t know what pickle pops are, please allow me to explain.  It’s basically a Popsicle that is made entirely of pickle juice.  Sounds delicious, right?  Well, if a frozen rod of pickle juice is anyway near as delicious as the pickle it yielded, then I am completely sold.  Here’s the link:

Bob’s Pickle Pops

So, if you’re curious about what this would taste like, I highly recommend you speak with Bob of Bob’s Pickle Pops.  Let me know how it goes.  Much love from JMLP.
